About Avalon RV Center
Avalon RV Center has grown to be one of the premier RV dealerships in the
nation. Avalon came into being in 1968 in the town of Canal Fulton, Ohio,
about 20 minutes from Akron. Known then as Avalon Travel Trailer Center,
they handled many lines of trailers, including Airsteam. They quickly became
one of the largest Airsteam dealers in the nation based on Superior Service
and Fair Pricing, standards that still exist today with Avalon.
One thing led to another with the addition of motorhomes and soon Avalon had
outgrown its original home.
In 1984 Avalon RV Center, as it was now known, moved to it's new state of
the art facility on 27 acres, 10 of which are fenced, on Rt 18 between I-77
and I-71 int the Medina, ohio area. The new facility boasted 2 indoor
showrooms with sales offices, parts and service department, corporate
offices and a 14 Bay service department including a shop.
Avalon RV is still family owned and operated today, It employs approximately
50 people including both factory and industry trained and certified service
technicians, sales associates and managers. Avalon also has an approximate
$12 million, continuously changing, inventory of new and used travel
trailers, and motorhomes on display, the widest array in the area.
